Yenton Judo Club is run by coach's Phil Smith 5th Dan and Lesley Farnell 4th Dan.

Lesley won Silver Medal at the WORLD MASTERS in Japan 2003 and last year 2006 won 2 gold medals and a Bronze in France.

Phil Smith came fifth in Japan and fifth in Austria ( highest placed british players )

2006 achieved a Bronze medal in France. Last year 2007 they both achieved gold in Sao Paulo Brazil. This year in Belgium Phil narrowly missed out on a Bronze medal , Lesley won three Bronze medals , one in here weight catergory, one in the open weight and one in the teams.

Both are very Experienced players.

Phil is a Senior Coach' and has run his own judo club in Birmingham for 26 years.

The club has players ranging from novices to high graded Juniors to Dan grades seniors

The club is associated to the Amateur Judo Association & the B.J.C :
